Senior Account Executive - Local Government/Education

We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious client, an established vendor in the Enterprise SaaS market. As a 'challenger' in the industry, they are competing with the bigger, 'traditional' names and making a significant impact.

They are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Account Executive to join their expanding team.

This role is based in the UK, focusing on new business development across a set of named accounts UK-wide, specifically within Local Authorities or Higher Education.

Position: Senior Account Executive - Local Government OR Education

Location: United Kingdom

Salary: £80k-£100k basic + uncapped OTE

Role and Responsibilities:

  • New Business Development: Identify, engage, and secure new clients across the UK within Local Authorities or Higher Education sectors depending on your defined account set
  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with named accounts, ensuring their ongoing success and satisfaction with the solutions provided.
  • Industry Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of ERP or Financial Management Systems to address the specific needs of Local Government and Education sectors.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in selling enterprise software, particularly ERP or Financial SaaS.
  • Sector Knowledge: Experience selling into Local Authorities or Higher Education is essential.
  • ️ Excellent Communication Skills: Strong negotiation and interpersonal abilities, capable of building and sustaining relationships at all levels.
