Our involvements are about making a difference to people's lives by listening, empowering, understanding and working together to help people be active participants in their support.
Like all Local Authorities, we face challenges, but we are really proud that we've still continued to provide high quality services to the people of Lincolnshire. We continue to strive for more creative ways of improving services and relationships with other partners, such as the NHS and care providers.
We are looking for Social Workers who are passionate, highly skilled and knowledgeable with either several years of post-qualifying experience OR at least one year (ASYE completed) of post-qualifying experience WITH considerable assessment experience within a statutory adults social care setting.
You should be able to demonstrate commitment to continuous professional development and to work as part of a team, learning from and contributing to the development of others.
We are looking for someone who wants to use these skills and knowledge in a more creative and innovative way. This opportunity will cover a wide geographical area and as such it is essential that you have the means to travel as required for the role.
Our offer to you - Our people are our most valuable asset

Along with a competitive salary we are offering;

A Contributory pension
Comprehensive benefits package including excellent discount schemes and cycle to work

We have embraced new ways of working and hybrid working will be a feature of this role. Working arrangements regarding hybrid working will be discussed as part of the appointment process.
Our technology platform and equipment is very good enabling you to connect and collaborate remotely. Please be advised that this position may be subject to a criminal record check.
We operate a talent pool scheme whereby candidates who are not successful on this occasion may be considered for a period of up to 3 months for equal positions.
Lincolnshire County Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
