Family Court Social Worker

About the Role:
Cafcass is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Social Work professional to join our Public and Private Law team in Lincoln. As a Family Court Adviser, you will play a critical role in supporting vulnerable children and families through the family court process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake direct work with children, gaining their views and wishes, and representing these to the court via written reports and evidence.
- Advocate for arrangements that are in the best interests of the child(ren) involved.
- Work closely with colleagues, local authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure effective case management and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
- Registered Social Worker with Social Work England.
- Proven experience of working with children and families, with a strong understanding of child welfare and the family court process.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
