This role will sit within our Nidec Industrial Solutions (NIS) department.
This role will focus on ensuring parts are procured for the manufacturing process on time and in addition to securing the best price, quantity and quality.
This role will report to the Customer Service Manager and work closely with the Engineering team to make sure the process runs smoothly and avoids delay. To manage the procurement process for bills of materials and ad-hoc purchases
Manage inventory and participate in stock-takes
Ensuring records are kept for all communication with customers, anticipating developments and identifying accounts that will require special attention.
To be proactive in arranging product deliveries to customer
GCSE English Grade 4 and above
Relevant experience in a purchasing role
General administration experience within a busy office environment
Competent Excel skills ideally including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
~ Excellent written and spoken English
