As a result ofthecontinually growing demand for our specialist services, we arelooking for anindividual to join our expanding Global Mobility team inthe National EmployerSolutions department, as a compliance andadvisory Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Activelyworking across a number of client accounts simultaneously, ensuring apremium client service is consistently provided by managing day-to-dayclient relationships and expectations.
  • Supporting thesuccessful delivery of advisory projects, ensuring technicalexcellence but also applying a practical and commercial approach.
  • Running day to day aspects of UK tax and social securitycompliance programs across a client portfolio (tax returns, payroll,tax briefings, social security compliance), ensuring all deadlines aremet.
  • Co-ordinating UK headquartered global mobilityprogrammes.
  • Working alongside Partners, Directors and/orAssociate Directors to help develop new business whilst identifyingopportunities to expand on existing client work, involving othercolleagues, departments and/or services when appropriate.
  • Handling day-to-day financial requirements of running a clientportfolio, and acting as the first point of management within thatprocess. 
  • Acting as people manager to more junior staff andbeing a visible, positive role model, including delegation and takingan active role in their training and career development via on-the-jobcoaching, delivering formal training, and carrying out requestedfeedback and career conversations.
  • Reviewing personaldevelopment and aspirations, and attending career conversations withline manager, ensuring strengths are being harnessed and a strongunderstanding of the training and support available is gained.
  • Carrying out any other duties as are within the scope, spirit andpurpose of the job, the title of the role and its grading, asrequested by the line manager, Head of Department or any Partner.

About the ideal candidate

Thisopportunity issuited to a self-starting individual who proactivelytakes responsibility andwants to work in a dynamic environment. Youwill possess a strong foundation ofexperience in expatriate tax andinternational social security, including anunderstanding of thecomplexities relating to a range of clients in both largeand smallorganisations who have cross-border workers. You will be ATT and/orCTAqualified, or equivalent, with the ability to articulate technicalmattersto non-tax specialists. You will have proven experience oftaking the lead onqueries and managing multiple engagement withdifference teams simultaneously.

  • Strong organisation with demonstrated project management skills, withevidence of the ability to plan and prioritise work, meetingdeadlines.
  • Exhibit strong risk awareness with the abilityto carry out effective reviews and know when to refer upwards.
  • Clearly commercially aware with the ability to monitor and adhereto financial parameters.
  • Excellent communication in a rangeof situations, both written and oral, and the proven ability to buildand maintain strong client relationships.
  • Good experienceof coaching, supervising and motivating team members.
  • Teamplayer, possessing the ability to work within a positive,collaborative and inclusive culture, building effective workingrelationships at all leaves.

About the role
