Financial Services Corporate Tax Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Financial Services (Asset Management & Funds) Tax Manager to join the Corporate Tax team. This is a small but growing team, so it should appeal to someone in a larger FS Tax team who is concerned about progression rate and opportunities currently.
Responsibilities:
Sector Experience:
- The Financial Services (Asset Management & Funds) Tax Manager must have a solid background in financial services tax, specifically in asset management and funds.
- Leverage your expertise to provide tailored tax advice and solutions to our clients in this sector.
Breadth of Work:
- This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities, including:
- Deals Tax: Advise on tax implications related to mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions.
- Advisory: Collaborate with clients to develop tax-efficient strategies and address complex tax issues.
- Tax Audit: Manage tax audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Compliance: Oversee tax compliance processes, including filing returns and reporting.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with financial services clients.
- Understand their unique needs and provide strategic tax planning advice.
- Act as a trusted advisor, addressing complex tax matters.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional tax qualification (e.g., CTA) preferred.
- Existing experience in financial services tax, with a focus on asset management and funds.
