The Royal Agricultural University is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Administrator to join our team and be the welcoming face of our University and conference receptions.
Reception Duties: Handle general reception tasks, manage the reception email account, and assist with queries from staff, students, customers, and contractors.
Security Monitoring: Manage security systems, including CCTV, burglar alarms, and fire alarms, and coordinate emergency procedures.
Facilities Management: Work with the Estates & Facilities team to manage car parking and access control.
Mail Handling: Sort and distribute incoming mail, and prepare outgoing mail and courier services.
Event Support: Team Collaboration: Work flexibly to cover team absences and support the Customer Services Team Leader as needed.
Excellent telephone manner and communication skills at all levels
A strong customer service orientation with demonstrable skills
Computer literacy particularly with MS packages
A willingness to obtain a Shot Gun licence for handling and storing student guns (with training and application support provided by the University).
