Travel Claims Administrator

Here at IMG we are pleased to announce that we are looking for a Travel Claims Administrator working Remotely or Hybrid on a permanent contract working 37.5 hours a week including some weekends and evenings with a competitive salary of £20,319 - £22,000 (Depending on Experience) per year. In the role you will provide outstanding service to our members by answering calls related to new quotes. Our Travel claims administrator's provide round the clock medical assistance to policy holders who suffer injury or illness while travelling overseas, and our dedicated claims team handles a huge range of travel claims from lost luggage to pet care.

The Travel Claims Administrator role provides outstanding service to our members by answering calls related to New Quotes of existing policies.
What does day to day life look like at IMG as a Travel Claims Administrator, well every day is different here at IMG but the main duties and responsibilities for a Travel Claims Administrator are.
- To process, from request to fulfilment, any amendments/cancellations to existing travel insurance policies by documenting any amendments via our clients operating systems.
- To understand the needs of the customer by asking the correct questions to obtain personal information and using the knowledge gained of the products available to provide quotes and answer customer questions.
- To answer calls within our required service levels and work to ensure abandoned calls are kept to a minimum, to achieve maximum customer service levels.
- Other various policy and administrative related tasks or projects as assigned by the line manager.
What We're Looking for:
- Strong written and verbal communication, delivered in a clear and professional manner
- Strong problem solving skills
- Computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- A high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure in a close knit team
- Customer service experience (preferred)
- Previous call centre experience (preferred)
- Previous administration experience (preferred)
