The Brand Manager Ice Cream position at Ferrero offers an exhilarating opportunity for individuals passionate about making a significant impact within the ice cream category. As part of this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in driving the success of Ferrero's ice cream portfolio, directly contributing to achieving ambitious targets in terms of Profit and Loss, market share, and competitive standing.
Working under the guidance of both the Marketing Manager for the UK and Ireland and the Marketing Manager of your assigned category, you will be instrumental in shaping the strategic direction of Ferrero's ice cream products. This entails not just supporting the definition of the brand's positioning and detailed strategies but also taking a hands-on approach in developing and implementing innovative ideas, projects, and actions that align with these strategies.
A key aspect of your role will involve vigilant monitoring and management of costs associated with advertising, promotions, and research to ensure they remain within the set budget limits. This financial stewardship is essential for maximising the effectiveness of marketing expenditures and ensuring the financial health of the category.

Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of activities, requiring a collaborative approach with the Marketing Manager to provide crucial information for strategic marketing planning. This includes managing budgets for advertising, promotions, and market research to ensure strategic goals are effectively met.
You will be instrumental in portfolio strategy, where you will evaluate product mixes, propose strategic SKUs, and lead new product development projects. In terms of communication and media strategy, you will target specific audiences, optimise the media mix, and ensure that campaigns are developed within budget constraints and adhere to legal standards.
In promoting the brand, you will propose promotional strategies, oversee the development of promotional materials, and evaluate the effectiveness of promotional activities. Additionally, you will be involved in experimental launches, analyzing outcomes to refine strategies, and monitoring key business metrics such as sales forecasts and market data to make informed strategic adjustments.
You will also engage in both strategic and operational research projects aimed at enhancing the brand's positioning and operational efficiencies. Your role demands a combination of strategic insight, financial acumen, and creative thinking, positioning you as a key driver in propelling Ferrero's ice cream brand forward in a competitive market. The Brand Manager role at Ferrero requires a unique blend of skills and knowledge, central to which is the ability to articulate the brand's vision compellingly and manage relationships effectively, both internally and with external agencies. Solid brand marketing experience and excellent communication skills are essential, as is fluency in the Italian language to navigate Ferrero's global landscape. Leadership qualities are crucial for project and team management, alongside a strong commitment to the brand and financial savvy to make informed decisions and manage budgets.
