We are looking for an experienced Head of Qualityto join our established Quality team. The Head of Quality will hold overall accountability of Quality, being responsible for developing, managing, and continuously improving the quality management system, whilst ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory and statutory requirements. What you’ll be doing as our Head of Quality:
Quality Monitoring:
• Investigates and defines projects to improve quality and accuracy, reduce cost of poor quality.
• In depth knowledge of SPC and control plans to act on data in the pursuit of a Right First Time culture within the organisation.
• Project management experience to create and deliver strategic objectives in line with VOB/VOC.
Implement changes to enhance Quality, reduce scrap, and enhance company reputation.
Ensure that the process complies with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and quality standards.
• Stay informed about regulatory changes and update processes as necessary.
Documentation and Training:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project and problem solving documentation, including Manufacturing Technology Roadmap.
• Leads communication with customers to present robust quality control measures.
• Communicate process updates, changes, and performance metrics to relevant stakeholders.
Budget Management:
• Champions management of change to govern change within a process.
The Skills, Knowledge and Experience you will need as our Head of Quality:
Auditing and Regulatory experience within Automotive industry
Manufacturing experience from Automotive, Heat treatment or Aerospace industries
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems
MS Office 360, Statistical process control such as Minitab
5 years proven experience in a Quality leaderrole
