We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager to join our Community Mental Health Teams.


This team is proactive in embedding and utilising multidisciplinary roles to provide recovery and outcome focussed interventions to service users, whilst meeting local and national targets.


The successful candidate will work at ease within the current transformation to support the team through relevant changes. The candidate will establish relationships and communication links with their local neighbourhoods and primary care PCNs. This role requires the ability to multitask incorporating service development, operational and people management. You will be responsible for the day to day management of the team and will have experience in the leadership and supervision of clinical staff and have excellent knowledge of health and social care policy relating to the delivery of mental health care.


As the Team Manager you will be expected to input into service evaluations and audits as well as carry out the managerial responsibilities of appraisals, managing sickness/absence and training for staff. Innovation and a creative approach are encouraged and being a positive role model is essential. Current unrestricted registration with HCPC/NMC
Specialist managerial training
Evidence of continuing professional development

Substantial experience in a Community Mental health care setting
Significant experience of risk assessment and positive risk management

Must have full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle for business use
