About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Neighbourhood Officer to join our Coventry Neighbourhoods team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the tenancy management of a patch within a geographical area, ensuring that our customers receive excellent service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee tenancy management and estate issues, ensuring that all properties are well-maintained and that customers are satisfied with the service they receive.
  • Deal with Anti-Social behaviour from minor reports to serious cases, working closely with multi-agency partners to resolve issues and ensure the safety of our customers.
  • Manage sensitive safeguarding matters, providing support and guidance to customers and colleagues as needed.
  • Conduct regular block and estate inspections to identify any issues and implement solutions to improve the quality of life for our customers.
  • Work with the management of new build properties, ensuring that all tenancy management issues are addressed promptly and efficiently.
  • Conduct tenancy reviews for all properties within the allocated patch, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance the customer experience.
Requirements
  • Ability to carry out interviews to discuss sensitive customer issues, providing a high level of customer service and support.
  • Excellent IT skills, with the ability to use a range of software systems to manage customer data and communicate with colleagues.
  • Ability to develop successful professional relationships with partners to achieve positive outcomes, working collaboratively to resolve issues and improve services.
  • Willingness and ability to work flexibly, attending meetings and other events outside normal business hours to meet the needs of the service.
  • Ability to adapt positively to change, be resilient to challenges, obstacles, and handling conflict, maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.
  • Highly self-motivated, able to act with integrity and show drive and enthusiasm, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Current clean driving licence and access to a car, with the ability to travel to different locations as required.
