Business Development Manager

Our client is a leading digital asset trading and technology firm, specializing in market making, OTC, and treasury management services, operating globally with offices in various locations. They have developed a robust trading infrastructure integrating over 120 centralized and decentralized exchanges. Leveraging proprietary technology and extensive experience from traditional markets and algorithmic trading, the company brings control and transparency to digital asset markets.
The position available is for a Business Development Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting the pre-sales lifecycle and closing for qualified clients, focusing on selling core services such as Market Making, Brokerage, Custody, and Treasury Management solutions, along with exploring channel partner opportunities.
- Prospecting, qualifying, and pitching to clients, while ensuring seamless communication internally and with clients until the launch of trading services.
- Participating in crypto events to expand the network and secure clients.
- Collaborating closely with the sales, trading, legal, and marketing teams for pre-sales and post-sales activities.
- Ensuring regular reporting and tracking using Salesforce.
- Providing support to the global sales team, including desks in Singapore and the USA, when necessary.
Requirements:
Background and Experience:
- 6 to 8 years of experience in the cryptocurrency space, preferably at an exchange or prime broker, or in a client-facing role with financial experience and a strong interest in crypto.
- Must have an existing crypto network or previous crypto experience.
Skills and Attributes:
- Genuine interest in cryptocurrency markets and financial topics.
- Proven experience in networking, deal closing, and partnership building.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with a curiosity to learn and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in English is essential, while proficiency in French is a plus.
