This is a great opportunity for a Housing Management Coordinator to join our team here in the Yeovil Team. As our Housing and Property Coordinator, youll focus on tenancy support for our customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained. Providing a housing management service, youll support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts with the aim of helping them move on to a secure, long-term accommodation
Typical day as a Housing Management Coordinator
Supporting people over the age of 18 who are homeless or are at risk of homelessness.
Making sure that our customers properties are homes they can be proud of, youll support your customers by engaging and involving them in their tenancies.
Help our customers with housing benefit claims, making sure that these are received on their rent account.
Getting our properties ready for the next customers who needs our help and formaximum occupancy, youllturn around vacant or voidproperties within set timescales.
Fancy going home each day knowing that you have helped change our customers lives for the better? Experience in managing a housing management caseload and overseeing landlord and housing management duties
Know-how of re-letting of properties, collecting rents, and taking formal tenancy action when needed.
Were really proud of service and we really enjoying going the extra mile for our customers. Based at our service in Yeovil, youll spend your time between 2 properties within 2 mins walk of each other
Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, making benefit claims and doing tenancy signs ups,
Youll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
