Job Description

Job Description To drive improvements in the end-to-end product/system lifecycle spanning the whole SDLC and post launch operations, covering our customer-facing products and internally developed colleague-facing applications.

To work with security champions to develop a strong security culture and capability. To ensure that new product/system releases are secure and that vulnerabilities discovered in live products and systems are quickly and effectively addressed.

Skills, know-how and experience:

• Experience of implementing security in the software development lifecycle
• Experience with secure development tools/activities such as SAST, DAST, vulnerability management, threat modelling
• Proficiency in English – written and verbal
• Experience of working with geographically dispersed teams
• Experience working in an agile, DevOps/DevSecOps environment

• Some proficiency in coding or scripting
• Experience in implementing security in public cloud based online products
• Experience of formal compliance frameworks (e.g. SOC, ISO27001, PCI or similar)

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities • Working with Security Champions Engineers to develop a strong security capability in assigned Product Engineering or Enterprise Application Development teams
• Supporting continual improvement in the secure software development lifecycle
• Acts as the main point of contact on security issues for Product Delivery and EAD teams on assigned products
• Assessing assigned new and existing Sage products, applications or systems to identify security weaknesses and creating improvement plans where required
• Supporting security compliance as it relates to assigned products
• Maintaining awareness of and adhering to Sage policies, standards and processes
• Completing relevant training/development activities
• Completing assignments to expected quality and timescales
• Maintaining awareness of the changing threat landscape by participating relevant security groups, forums, or conferences
