An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Security Education & Awareness (SEA) Team. The challenges in the role are to support improvements and embed a strong security culture within DWP, working alongside an established team who are responsive and provide effective security and guidance to colleagues.

**Job description**:
The Security Education and Awareness Associate role is part of the DWP Security & Data Protection (S&DP) Directorate. The vacancy within the Security Advice Centre entails providing advice and guidance on every aspect of security enquiries, including security policy, physical security behaviours and ad-hoc security enquiries.

**Person specification**:
**Essential Skills**
- Experience of communicating using a variety of channels such as visual, online, digital and/or physical media
- Practical experience of employing various techniques to target a diverse range of target audiences
- Experience of collating, interpreting and explaining metrics as part of an overarching compliance regime that are relevant to a business activity such as SEA
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment delivering multiple priorities to deadline
- Building and maintaining excellent relationships with a range of stakeholders both internal, external and cross government
- Provide evidence of working with customers understanding their needs and expectations and the ability to clearly explain decisions in order to meet the customer requirements.
