Group Category Manager – Indirect Spend at Modulaire Group

Location: High Holborn, London

Job Purpose: As the Group Category Manager for Indirect Spend, you will work across all parts of Modulaire Group, driving excellence in our Sourcing, Category Management, and Supplier Relationship Management practices. Your role will focus on maximising value from the external supply chain across our six Strategic Business Units (SBUs) and managing a set range of Indirect Spend categories.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute long-term category strategies that align with business needs and deliver enhanced value and reduced risks from supplier relationships.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to ensure alignment between business needs and category management strategies.
  • Measure value creation with standardised KPIs through improvements in quality, sustainability, cost, agility, and working capital from our suppliers.
  • Integrate current supply chains across existing footprints and support new acquisitions.
  • Act as a category advisor and subject matter expert within our London HQ and La Défense Paris offices for Professional & HR services.
  • Develop a preferred supplier segmentation strategy and build strong relationships with key supplier partners.
  • Communicate the value of Indirect Procurement initiatives across the group.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of category leadership experience across indirect spend categories, with a strong understanding of multiple geographies and cultures.
  • Demonstrable experience in driving long-term category strategies and delivering year-over-year benefits.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing global supply chain contracts.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior-level stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic organisation.
