Job Description

Procurement Category Specialist - FM & Indirects

Bramwith Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Category Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the evaluation of competitive tenders for the supply of goods and services and negotiating with suppliers on all commercial and contractual matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and implement comprehensive strategies on a global and regional basis to deliver impressive cost savings and wider commercial benefits that impact company results for facilities spend.
  • Build strategic relationships with critical suppliers and develop risk mitigation strategies to provide secure and cost-effective sources for specialist commodities.
  • Assist in all aspects of sourcing process from supplier engagement and analysis through to contracts management.
  • Work with commercial teams to negotiate contracts and deliver savings and value add for the category.
  • Develop market know-how and gravitas to influence major decisions across the organization.
  • Work closely with other members of the procurement team, internal stakeholders, and external parties to seek continued improvement in the category value.

Requirements:

  • ~2-4+ years Procurement / Strategic Sourcing / Category Management experience, with a CV that details commercial achievements (cost savings & avoidance, risk mitigation, supplier relationship and performance improvement, stakeholder engagement).
  • ~ Expertise in indirect procurement ideally with the knowledge and experience in facilities services, however this is not required.
  • ~ Procurement / strategic sourcing / buying experience within complex global organizations.
