As a Procurement Category Specialist, you will manage a substantial budget within either the Hot Beverages or BWS Categories. Your role will involve crafting strategies and fostering growth for pivotal clients in these vibrant markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture relationships with essential suppliers to promote effective collaboration through a strategic and innovative lens.
- Oversee supplier partnerships to guarantee the consistent delivery of goods and services that meet the required standards of quality, service, and pricing.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of market trends to identify opportunities for range development and enhance customer engagement.
- Ensure a secure supply chain for all stakeholders including employees, clients, and consumers.
- Implement retention strategies related to categories, suppliers, and products within your designated portfolios.
Ideal Candidates Will Possess:
- Robust experience in Category procurement or National Account Management within the Hot Beverage or BWS sectors.
- Proven track record in managing complex supplier, distributor, and client relationships.
- Strong decision-making capabilities, with excellent commercial insight and the ability to perform under pressure.
- Solid analytical skills, with proficiency in managing and interpreting data to inform effective decision-making.
- A collaborative mindset, capable of uniting teams to achieve results.
- Strategic thinking skills that demonstrate influence and impact across the organization.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, utilizing insights to drive continuous improvement.
This position offers flexible working arrangements, including the possibility of remote work a few days a week, while requiring candidates to be within a reasonable commuting distance.
