Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager - Indirect Categories to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our Senior Procurement Managers to support the business and own the full procurement process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all business activity across strategic sourcing, supplier sourcing, contract terms, negotiations, and business improvement plans.
- Research and source the best suppliers available to meet the needs of the project.
- Develop category strategies to promote cost savings and increased supplier performance.
- Build and lead cross-functional project teams to effectively deliver against the strategic objectives of the business.
- Actively identify, prioritize, and mitigate risks and issues for all procurement activities.
- Own the commercial relationship with key strategic vendors and drive, develop, and deliver the strategic direction of relevant categories.
Requirements:
- Experience of owning end-to-end procurement, strategic sourcing, and contract management.
- Negotiate and agree on contract terms and commercials with potential providers.
- Strong decision-maker with good commercial acumen.
