About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Category Manager to join our team at the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). As a key member of our Sourcing team, you will be responsible for delivering sourcing and tendering best practice across all FM categories and indirect categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach and support business stakeholders in the delivery of sourcing best practice and Supplier Relationship Management.
- Work closely with the Supplier Risk Management team to obtain required documentation from suppliers and ensure the accuracy of the master supplier database.
- Lend support to the Supplier Risk team during high-demand periods for supplier onboarding or award of new business.
Requirements
- Category management experience in FM and indirect categories (IT, Professional Services, HR, and Marketing).
- Change management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Supplier relationship management and negotiation expertise.
- Familiarity with sourcing tools and ability to support user adoption.
- Commercial and contract awareness.
