On behalf of the Windscale continuous improvement function support with the development of data capture, analytical reporting and visual management, ensuring that all data collected is robust, and input data is of sufficient quality and detail to provide accurate reporting outputs; to inform tactical business reviews and customer reporting .

Main Responsibilities for Management Information Analyst:
Responsible to Continuous Improvement and Pre-Operations Manager for:
The collation and dissemination of business performance information from across the facility and assisting in the production of regular performance reports for Senior Management reviews. Proactive face to face stakeholder engagement to identify anomalies, risks and operational issues, suggest and apply mitigations. Coordinate the pulling together of information from all areas of the business in relation to performance against plan targets and KPIs. Analyse data collected in order to help inform business decisions. Support the Pre-operations and continuous improvement manager in the development of reporting capabilities. Carry out data quality checks to ensure credible robust reporting. To communicate ideas for the development and further streamlining of processes and procedures in relation to the remit of the Pre-operations and continuous improvement function. Apply previous experience and knowledge to identify best solutions to apply for successful deliverables. Develop, update and maintain visual management systems for the facility management and workforce to understand performance.
Essential Criteria for Management Information Analyst:
Advanced Excel user competent in the use of complex formulae V Look Ups- What Ifs Pivot Tables Graphs and Database reporting. Understanding and application of statistical and business trend analysis. Strong experience in the use of Microsoft packages, e.g. MS Word, PowerPoint, etc. Experience of analysing data in relational databases through SQL or similar query tools and confidence writing complex SQL queries that can interrogate, reconcile and validate data from multiple sources. Good verbal and written communication. Natural intellectual curiosity, creative in analytical approach with a good instinct for business Capable of working without supervision, to provide insight and help to develop the reporting capabilities of the business. Drive, determination, confidence, enthusiasm and a willingness to propose alternatives to established approaches Ability to take on responsibility and use initiative to prioritise and work effectively under pressure. Customer centricity - strong customer focus both internal and external. Confident ability to interpret findings and present insights to internal audiences. Strong team working, able to work with various internal teams to achieve objectives. Commitment to continuous improvement; willing to proactively make suggestions on potential developments. Ability to obtain SC level security clearance (this includes but is not limited to identity, employment, financial and criminal record checks plus 5 years' worth of UK residency).
Desirable Criteria for Management Information Analyst:
Knowledge of planning methodologies and use of Microsoft Project/Primavera P6.
