Role Responsibilities
Mission: Our client is seeking to hire a Development Director to join the team and take ownership of the development
of upcoming developments, sourcing new deals, and for the existing real estate/property assets. The Development
Director will report directly to the Chairman, working closely alongside the Finance Director. The key responsibilities will
include:

• Take full ownership of the property development lifecycle, managing projects from end to end; specifically take
responsibility for three ongoing development projects and ensuring the successful outcome
• Day-to-day oversight and project management which includes liaising with external parties such as Contractors,
Design teams, Law Firms, etc.
• Contribution to product development (commercial spaces and apartments) and ongoing assessment of the project
risks
• Assemble and oversee construction teams directly through a network of experts
• Source and negotiate all resources for the construction
• Manage existing properties, and build trust, and effective relationships with letting agents and other suppliers
• Liaise with the internal teams and colleagues on treasury, tax, and cash flow

Hard Skills & Experience
• Significant experience in property development and management with a particular focus on commercial, and
ideally some exposure to residential properties
• Commercial acumen and highly entrepreneurial mindset; candidate not shying away from going the extra mile to
achieve targets
• Demonstrated strong project management, communication, and negotiation skills
• Good network of relevant experts in the UK
• Exceptional drive, attention to detail, and ability to oversee several projects simultaneously
• Ideally, experience at a large Real Estate development company, as well as in a smaller set-up
