Brasserie Marceline is a new 150 cover modern Brasserie in the heart of Canary wharf looking to France with its feet firmly in London. Independently owned by proven restauranteurs with a passion for food and hospitality. Opening this July upon the K2 floating pavilion in Canary Wharf we're seeking an experienced Sous Chef that wants to be a big part of the opening with a desire to add their mark to a completely new restaurant. Role Overview:

As a Sous Chef, you'll be an integral part of our kitchen brigade, working closely with our Head Chef to deliver excellent cooking from the whole team. Your role will involve: Assisting in menu development and recipe creation. Overseeing daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and quality. Training and supervising kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation. Managing inventory and ordering supplies to minimize waste and optimize cost control. Upholding strict hygiene and safety standards in compliance with regulations. Overseeing medium and large events. Requirements:

To excel in this role, you'll need: Proven experience as a Sous Chef or senior position in a high-volume kitchen. A passion for culinary innovation and a keen eye for detail. Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire and motivate your team. Ability to thrive under pressure and maintain composure during busy periods. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Benefits:
