Printer Installation - Field Installation Engineer - 1st Line Support

Location - London

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Printer Installation Technician. The primary responsibility of this role is to efficiently install and configure printers, including Multi-Function Printers (MFP), desktop printers, and Fiery servers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in printer hardware and software, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused attitude.

Position Requirements

  • Install and configure desktop printers, MFPs, and Fiery servers according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to printer hardware, software, or connectivity during installation.
  • Conduct thorough testing of installed printers to ensure proper functionality and performance.
  • Provide basic onsite training to end-users on printer operation and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other team members to coordinate installation schedules and ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain accurate records of all installations, including configurations, serial numbers.
