The Facilities Manager will be responsible for leading our facilities team including a multiyear project to optimise the use of mixed office, laboratory and warehouse space across multiple buildings.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our UK facilities, managing day-to-day operations and implementing strategic changes to enhance the overall functionality of our workplace.
• Develop and implement facilities management strategy, policies and procedures
• Conduct strategic planning and analysis for current and future facilities needs
• Lead and motivate facilities management staff and contractors
• Communicate facilities management activities to senior management
• Prepare and manage the facilities management budget
• Ensure value for money in facilities operations
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in facilities management, engineering, business administration or a related field OR equivalent working experience
• A proven track record of delivering high-quality FM services and solutions
• A high level of financial and commercial acumen, able to manage budgets and contracts effectively and efficiently
• Strong leadership and management skills, able to inspire and motivate a diverse and multidisciplinary team
• A creative and innovative mindset, able to identify and implement opportunities for improvement and change
• A strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to plan and execute FM projects and initiatives that align with the organisation's vision and goals
• A customer-focused and service-oriented attitude able to deliver FM services and solutions that enhance the organisation's reputation and brand.
