A dynamic and rapidly growing company based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join their team and lead HR strategies forward.

In this independent HR role, the primary focus will be on providing dedicated support to the senior leadership team. With a key objective of integrating HR initiatives seamlessly with company strategies, the selected candidate will play a vital role in driving organisational success.

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 3 years of HR management experience across diverse sectors and hold recognised qualifications such as CIPD certification, a degree, or diploma in Human Resources. Strong proficiency in data analysis, report presentation, and policy development is essential. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, along with a professional demeanor, are also critical attributes for this role.


Key Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Conduct end-to-end recruitment processes, including job specification, personal specification, interviewing, onboarding, and exit interviews, while also reviewing current recruitment strategies.
  • Manage personnel records efficiently and accurately.
  • Act as the day-to-day point of contact for HR-related employee issues.
  • Oversee the management of sickness and absence, providing advice on strategies for better management.
  • Develop and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across departments.
  • Engage and advise employees at all levels on current and upcoming legislation.
  • Provide coaching and training to supervisors and managers on policy, procedure, and best practice.
  • Review all company policies, develop new policies, and manage change where required across the business.
  • Manage the disciplinary and grievance process, including appeals.
  • Develop and coach Performance and Development Management strategies.
  • Handle stakeholder management effectively.
  • Utilise experience in contract negotiations and TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings Protection of Employment).
  • Demonstrate experience in change management initiatives.
  • Exhibit experience or good working knowledge in the management of Health & Safety and Risk, including mental health and wellbeing in operational environments.
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £40,000 per annum. The working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility on start and finish times. Additionally, there is an option for a 4 day working week. #J-18808-Ljbffr
