Oakleaf Partnership is delighted to be partnered with a global private equity firm, which is seeking a Finance & Payroll Officer, on a temp to perm basis. The Finance & Payroll Officer will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing payroll operations, and financial processes within the organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Finance & Payroll professional to contribute to our ongoing success and grow with our team.

The Finance & Payroll Officer will have the following skills:

  • Managing end-to-end payroll processing of our temporary contractors
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant payroll legislation
  • Handling payroll queries and discrepancies
  • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable
  • Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and financial journals
  • Supporting financial audits and controls.

To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate must:

  • Proven experience in a finance or accounting role, with payroll management
  • Strong understanding of end to end payroll
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
