The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and operational standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team of skilled professionals and drive continuous improvement in aircraft maintenance operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain maintenance check schedules in coordination with aircraft operators, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders.
  • Plan and allocate resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance checks.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure that all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and within established timeframes.
  • Monitor the progress of maintenance checks and address any issues or delays to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to verify compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Analyse maintenance data and performance metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to optimize maintenance processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to develop and implement maintenance procedures, standards, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid CAA Part-66 B1 Aircraft Maintenance License with at least 2 of the relevant type ratings. B727, B757, B737(CL or NG), A320, BE200 or BE300.
  • Proven experience in aircraft maintenance management, with a focus on maintenance checks and heavy maintenance activities.
  • Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, airworthiness requirements, and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve high performance.
  • Exceptional organizational and planning abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • You must also have the right to live and work in the UK
