This is a classic C-Suite consultingrole – blend of (remote, office and client location), where you willhave the opportunity to help shape and take responsibility for some ofthe world’s most ambitious and complex supply chain transformationprojects and programs across the Pharma, Bio Teach and Life Sciencessector. Typical areas of project programwork will include, Procurement Strategic, operational or transactionalprocurement across the buying lifecycle including procurementstrategy, supply Chain Strategy - Operating Model design, segmentationstrategy and inventory optimisation : Digital Supply Chain -next-generation supply chain technologies such as Robotic ProcessAutomation, cognitive automation and AI, Internet-of-Things (IOT),Blockchain and Big Data analytics : Furthermore, you will lead andsupport projects for clients that deliver best in class resultsleveraging capabilities from across the client firm in the areaslisted above. Outside of engagements, Directors are considered mentorswithin the firm, acting as people-managers and career coaches acrossthe team and across the Pharma, Bio Tech and Life Sciencessector.
Given the origination / sales aswell as large scale delivery aspects of this role, in order to besuccessful, you will need extensive experience of working within aTier 1 or boutique consulting organisation where your focus has beensupporting Pharma, Bio Tech or Life Sciences clients in large scaleOperational transformation projects and programs. You will need toable to demonstrate the ability to think strategically about businessand industry trends in Manufacturing / Operations and use analytical,problem-solving techniques to break down complex issues. It isessential that you have a track record in business development,pertaining to consulting engagements, experience in managing largescale often disparate teams and a reputation for delivering qualitywork for clients, demonstrating an understanding of the client'sprofessional standards and maintaining respectful clientrelationships.
