HR Business Partner
Job Type: Full-time
We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our public sector team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee relations and a passion for developing and implementing HR strategies that support our organisation’s goals.
Act as a strategic partner to departmental leaders, providing guidance on all aspects of HR including policy interpretation, employee relations, performance management, and employee development.
Develop and nurture partnerships through human resources to bridge the divide between management and employees.
Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation to ensure consistent application of policies across the organisation.
Analyse trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
Proven experience as an HR Business Partner in the public sector.
Strong understanding of employee relations and familiarity with public sector HR practices.
Excellent people management skills and the ability to engage with staff at all levels.
Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
