Our client is a leading transport and logistics company with a commitment to excellence, innovation, and sustainability. They are currently looking to appoint a dynamic and experienced HR Advisor to join their team based in Tilbury.
Manage the end to end recruitment and employee onboarding process.
Manage inductions, holidays, absences and probation reviews.
Carry out pre-employment checks including references, right to work and DBS checks.
Provide HR advice and support to managers and employees on various HR matters, including policies, procedures, and employee relations.
Oversee employee performance management, including appraisals, development plans, and disciplinary actions.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Payroll processing for around 250 employees.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
Support training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career progression.
Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture through engagement and communication initiatives.
Possess several years experience within a HR Advisor or Assistant role preferably within either Retail, Logistics, Construction or Manufacturing businesses.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Previous experience in payroll processing, recruitment and onboarding.
