Rate - £15.15 - £21.86

Provide advice and support to managers on all aspects of employee relations and the implementation of policies and procedures.

Provide advice and support to managers in the handling of disciplinary, grievances, performance/capability and sickness and assist managers in the preparation of cases/hearings and formal meetings.

Attend hearings and advise the Hearing Officer during Disciplinary Hearings and Appeals

Work with the Senior HR Adviser/HR Business Partner to develop the service to meet on-going requirements.

Assist managers in managing their staff, in accordance with good practice and employment legislation.

With the Senior HR Adviser, assist managers to develop their workforce plans.

Work closely with the Payroll Department to ensure workforce information is kept up-to-date, and any problems identified and addressed.

Work with the managers, HR staff and Information Directorate to identify the HR information requirements and develop appropriate processes to ensure the needs are met.

In conjunction with the Senior HR Adviser/HR Business Partner work on requests for information, ensuring that timely and accurate responses are provided.

Assist managers in the management of poor performance, advising on solutions and assisting with their implementation.

Develop, maintain and review quality initiatives within the employment services section to ensure a high quality service is provided, and the performance of the service is monitored and improved.

Deputise for the Senior HR Advisor/HR Business Partner as required.
