NELFT is seeking a Medical Human Resources Officer to provide responsive and efficient ESR (Payroll) and Recruitment related support across the teams.

We are currently looking for a motivated, passionate and driven individual to join the medical recruitment function of our Medical Staffing HR service in our journey to excellence

The Medical Staffing team provide a comprehensive medical workforce service to the Trust, covering a broad range of work. In this varied and interesting role not every day will be the same.

Starting with NELFT

NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focussing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

Probationary Period

High Cost Area Supplement

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,313 to a maximum of £5,436).

**Essential criteria for the role includes**:

- A basic Knowledge of payroll functions
- Proven track record of customer service
- Recruitment or Senior Admin

**The main responsibilities of the post are**:

- Ensure that payroll information is processed accurately and in a timely manner, including New starter forms, change forms and leavers documents.
- To act as the first point of contact for general payroll enquiries from staff and managers within the Trust, providing general advice and support on the payroll deadlines, payroll input timescales and any related guidance and processes.
- To support managers and staff with advice and guidance on using the Trusts HR Payroll Portal & the Payroll ESR system.
- To support with the wider Medical HR Team at the Trust Induction day.
- To support Medical HR Officer colleagues with Recruitment processes for the Locality
