Band 7 Pharmacist - Essex
Job requirements;
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: November with a view to extend
• Working Pattern: Monday-Friday, 09:00 – 17:30
• Shift Pattern: 37.5 hrs per week
MUST be a car driver as will be required to work at a local site once per week
ROLE SUMMARY
To provide specialist clinical pharmacy in a specific area of clinical and/or operational practice, to support the medicines-related care of patients, support the provision and development of medicines management services and to participate in training, education and research as required.
To actively contribute to, and participate in, the provision and development of pharmaceutical services, and safe and effective use of medicines, within the West Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust, as part of the Trust’s pharmacy and medicines management team.
To participate as an active member of specific ward / unit / clinical teams and support the safe and effective use of medicines.
To contribute to the organisation and management of the clinical pharmacy service to specific wards / units / clinical teams.
To provide clinical pharmacy and medicines management advice in order to maximise benefit and minimise risk in relation to medicines
To support and participate in clinical audit.
