Job Description
- Implement and promote good information governance practices.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines.
- Manage and respond to subject access requests (DSARs) & information requests.
- Understanding FOIs.
- Report on information governance performance and issues.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Information Governance Officer should have:
- A degree in Law, Information Management or a related field.
- Experience in information governance, Data Protection, Privacy DSARs or FOIs within the public sector.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What's on Offer
- An estimated hourly salary range of £16.20 - £19.80.
