We are seeking a Sales Manager to join our dynamic team, contributing to the success of our business within the Storage Systems sector. This role requires a proven track record in sales, a consultative approach to client engagement, and the ability to thrive in a competitive and fast-paced environment.
About the Role
You will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, building strong client relationships, and ensuring our clients receive industry-leading solutions. You will have the opportunity to work on high-value projects, leveraging your expertise to meet and exceed ambitious sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to senior leadership and manage the end-to-end sales cycle.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive outreach and strategic planning.
- Present a full range of storage products to current and prospective clients.
- Arrange and attend client meetings and site visits nationwide.
- Provide technical consultations and surveys, translating client needs into tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver projects to the highest standards.
- Analyse client activity to identify growth opportunities and underperforming accounts.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices.
- Prepare detailed reports on customer activity and market opportunities.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales role within the Storage Systems (Racking & Shelving) or Materials Handling sectors, with a good understanding of Racking & Shelving systems.
- Proven expertise in managing medium to large-scale projects.
- Strong technical understanding of industrial products and related solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with MS Office and a strong aptitude for learning new systems.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and highly organised.
- A full UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel nationwide.
- Knowledge of CDM regulations is highly desirable.
