Who Are CSL Looking For?

This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic, passionate, and self-motivated individual to become a vital part of the team. CSL are looking for someone with the ability to think independently and be creative, to identify and sign large strategic accounts.

As ‘Head of Business Development, rSIM’, your primary focus will be spearheading CSL's ambitious growth strategy for the patented rSIM proposition. Your role will include, but not limited to, working with large customers/partners and presenting our solution to key stakeholders with the goal of securing partnerships to supply rSIM®. Customers/Partners range from global mobile network operators, SIM card manufacturers, OEMs, value added IoT resellers, and IoT vertical providers.

We are looking for someone who is eager to learn more about the IoT market and all the exciting technology that comes with the job. You will need exceptional organisational and client-facing skills. Duties & Responsibilities:

This role will encompass a range of responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Develop strategic relationships with key clients to accomplish significant organic growth and strategic long-term company objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify and understand ideal customer profiles.
  • Utilise various strategies to generate leads, such as attending industry events, networking, and social selling.
  • Research and qualify potential leads, assessing their needs and fit with the company's offerings
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
  • Build, maintain and grow a healthy pipeline.
  • Primarily the role is focused on selling rSIM®, but the candidate should proactively identify and pursue additional business opportunities that CSL can serve.
  • Deliver high quality responses/pricing/proposals.
  • Develop win-win solutions for both company and client via effective contract negotiation.
  • Attend relevant industry exhibitions, forums, seminars, trades shows, awards and events.
  • Occasional EU and UK travel to meet clients or attend industry events.
  • Assist in the onboarding and handover to Account Management teams
  • Work with marketing to fill the top of the funnel with relevant leads.
  • Attend commercial and operational stakeholder meetings/reviews and ensure full governance.

  • Adept at talking to people from different backgrounds, you should have experience managing a discussions over Teams and improving working relationships with clients.
  • Expert user of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Current UK driving licence.
