About the Role: TechNET-IT have partnered with a leading industry organisation, who are seeking a Head of HR to lead and manage the entire HR function. Reporting directly to the People and Transformation Director, this role is pivotal in executing and developing the People Strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute and adapt the People Strategy in collaboration with the People and Transformation Director.
  • Oversee all HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, resourcing, workforce planning, employee engagement, reward and recognition, HR operations, employee experience, people analytics, talent management, succession planning, and HR reporting.
  • Manage the HR budget and develop HR reporting dashboards.
  • Provide leadership, support, and development to the HR team to increase knowledge, share best practices, and ensure professional standards.
  • Ensure compliance with current regulations, professional standards, policies, and legislation (including data protection, Equality Act, and GDPR).
  • Lead efforts to transform and strengthen organisational culture, embodying company values.
  • Coach and mentor senior and high-potential colleagues to identify strengths and development needs, fostering retention.
  • Ensure managers have the skills and information needed to handle workforce issues.
  • Foster innovation by implementing creative HR solutions.


Experience and Skills:

  • Proven experience in generalist HR roles covering ER, pay, reward, recruitment, resourcing, L&D, performance, and other HR activities.
  • Experience leading HR teams and managing HR functions.
  • CIPD qualified level 7 or equivalent.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of UK employment law and EDI.
  • Strong budgeting skills and commercial acumen.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and environments.
  • Resilient and able to maintain focus on goals despite setbacks.
  • Experience with TUPE, ACAS, and matrix/project environments is desirable.
