Winchmore Tutors is a national tuition agency working primarily with schools and local authorities providing tuition to disadvantaged pupils and vulnerable groups.
We are looking for an account manager for an August/September start. Our account managers are the first point of contact for clients and are responsible for managing the quality and overall provision for students.
The role is extremely busy and involves working with a large number of clients, tutors and young people in an area. You will work closely with clients to assess the student needs and match the needs with appropriate tutor. As well as connecting the student with the tutor you will continue to work with the student and client to monitor and evaluate the success of the tuition.
This role also involves business development of clients in your area which may include meeting clients face to face, calling clients and other business development activities.
During the school holidays account managers are involved in the recruitment of tutors as well as managing our summer holiday camp venues.
You may be suited to this role if you are:
- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines and targets
- Outgoing and not afraid to speak to people you don't know
- Motivated, proactive, committed and resilient
- Positive with a caring attitude, interested in social care, children and or education
- Good at working with people and within a team
- Knowledgeable or familiar with education terminology
- Able to balance lots of moving parts
There is no specific background necessary for this role. It would suit a recent graduate as well as someone with more experience. A knowledge of the education system would be beneficial.
