POSITION OVERVIEW


You will be joining a busy and long-established engineering business specialising in the design and manufacture of tube manipulation, tube laser and fabrication for the manufacturing sector.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Executive to drive revenue growth for our Tube Manipulation organisation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, fostering strong relationships with clients and partners. The Business Development Executive will play a key role in identifying and qualifying new Tube business opportunities, expanding market presence, and achieving sales and profit targets.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop and maintain an adequate pipeline of opportunities
  2. Develop new business opportunities through a mix of research, cold calling and relationship building
  3. Delivering confident, well-researched and individually tailored sales presentations
  4. Pricing and quoting, creatively and flexibly to ensure customer growth and profitability.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE


  1. Proven experience in Tube sales or related fields.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  3. Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, profit margins, and building strong customer relationships.
  4. Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on driving business outcomes and delivering value and profit to the organisation.
  5. Strong sales acumen - driven by lead sourcing to win new business
  6. You will be in a business development or client facing operational role
  7. Must possess the desire to succeed.
  8. Strong communication, networking and relationship building skills
  9. Will be pro-active and driven in approach
  10. Commercially minded with high-level attention to detail


WORKING CONDITIONS


Full time (permanent) position – 36 hours per week.

Monday to Thursday 7.00am to 4.30pm (30-minute un-paid break)

20 days annual holiday (plus Bank Holidays)

Salary: £55,000.00 to £60,000.00 per annum (negotiable DOE)
