Your new role
As the Design Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the design and technical aspects of a prestigious civil engineering project. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of a complex and innovative scheme, working alongside a talented team of engineers and specialists.
Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the design team and coordinating the work of various disciplines
  • Ensuring design solutions meet all relevant standards, regulations, and contractual requirements
  • Managing design-related risk and implementing effective quality assurance processes
  • Collaborating with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to the wider project team
What you'll need to succeed
  • Extensive experience as a Design Manager or Senior Design Engineer in the civil engineering industry
  • Proven track record of leading multi-disciplinary design teams and delivering complex projects
  • Strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
