The Role;

Responsible for leading a team that will maximise our GUK store, while offering the best-in-class customer service, resulting in customer acquisition and long-term customer loyalty.


Key Duties;

  • Effectively lead and manage team within the GUK store including but not limited to management of the team schedule/shifts together with HR dept.
  • Regular communication with the GUK Head of eCommerce to understand market variances, sales trends, and promotions/deals, which will impact future demand.
  • Work with the GUK Head of eCommerce to manage store forecasts, across segments and categories, ensuring the overall forecast is in line with company targets/budget.
  • Raising of purchase orders to ensure store is always suitably stocked, reflecting our expectations in demand.
  • Undertake projects and any other miscellaneous duties, as requested by the Head of eCommerce.
  • Develop and execute sales plans and promotional strategies to meet sales targets.
  • Ensure excellent customer service standards are met and address customer complaints or issues promptly.
  • Train and motivate the sales team to improve their performance and sales techniques.
  • Hire, train, and supervise retail team to ensure they are knowledgeable and capable of meeting store goals.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak and off-peak period.
  • Implement and oversee local marketing initiatives and events to attract customers to the store.


Education & Experience;

  • 3-5 years of experience in the retail sector, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Demonstrable success in achieving sales targets and managing sales teams.
  • Experience in delivering high standards of customer service and resolving customer issue, with excellent communication & listening skills.
  • Experience in handling daily store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and compliance with company policies.
  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail
  • Must be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate a team.
