We are recruiting for an Account Manager to develop existing customer relationships and new business opportunities.
To be successful in this role you will have a proven track record in nurturing genuine relationships with customers and will enjoy working with them to deliver the right commercial solution for their needs.
In essence, you will understand why it’s critical to be a partner to our customers and will naturally strive to add value and to maximise opportunities where you can - for the good of the Company and the customer.
You will also adopt a strategic approach to managing your territory and be well used to using and analysing Company / industry data to guide you.
We have a broad portfolio of high quality and technical products, so previous experience in selling technical products and solutions will definitely help, as will knowledge of the Composite Market.
This role is homebased (preferred location of Central/South East England with extensive travel within the territory and some overseas travel as necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assume primary responsibility for sales within the territory and provide assistance as required in other regions.
Competent in developing and delivery of customer solutions from a broad product portfolio.
Maintain and nurture strong relationships with existing customers and new customers to understand their current and future requirements
· Ability to differentiate with feature benefits, demonstrating value and identify commercial and technical advantage.
· Actively generate and close opportunities.
· Provide technical support to customers in relation to our product range including introducing new products
· Prepare full sales reports on all sales/technical visits
Adopt a proactive approach to new account development looking to identify and progress new revenue opportunities
Work collaboratively with the Commercial Manager and Customer Service Manager as well as other colleagues to deliver a great experience to customers, both pre and post sales
Support the conclusion of contracts through close cooperation with Airtech commercial office.
Actively promote, provide demonstrations and seminars and carry out appropriate supporting tasks, as required to help educate our customer base on the product ranges/technology
Work within business guidelines and procedures
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Proven track record of success in sales, ideally selling technical products and solutions
Knowledge of the Composite Market preferred
Ability to develop and maintain customer stakeholder relationships at all levels
Effective interpersonal skills
Ability to manage and prioritise workload
Strong desire to be successful and deliver value
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Effective communication and time management skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
