Fable & Mane is an innovative, dynamic, and modern hair care brand. It is inspired by ancient Indian beauty secrets and uses performance-led, potent ingredients in all its formulas.


Born in April 2020 and created by two entrepreneurial siblings, Akash & Nikita Mehta, Fable & Mane has taken the beauty world by storm, revolutionising the hair care category to become one of the best-selling brands in Sephora. Having recently launched in Cult Beauty, Boots, Douglas and with many new products in the pipeline, we are looking to grow our family. North America is a key part of our existing business, especially Sephora.


About the role


Mission:

Developing the overall global marketing & communication strategy and implementing it successfully throughout the various channels in order to increase global awareness, bring excitement and acquire new customers in core regions and channels.


Functions & Responsibilities:


Innovative Global Marketing Strategy


  • Based on Brand positioning, retail & product calendars, market trends and annual budget, develop and own a comprehensive omnichannel marketing and communication plan in support of brand's strategic direction, priorities, and market share objectives.
  • Infuse inspiring superior storytelling throughout all communication aspects to ensure strong brand differentiation.


Hands-on Implementation


  • Ensure robust implementation of the plan with clear priorities, KPIs and milestones,
  • Develop and implement 360 go-to-marketing strategy for new product while ensuring support of existing,
  • Lead the social calendar and channels priorities,
  • Establish a best-in-class global PR & influence strategy to support Brand, product, founders and storytelling,
  • Act as partner to the Commercial and Digital team.



Digital Marketing


  • Lead all upper funnel activity to ensure strong new consumer acquisition.
  • Develop together with E-Commerce manager a strong e-retail plan to increase brand visibility and excitement.


Team Leadership


  • Participate actively to the COMEX.
  • Lead the marketing team.
  • Build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation and communication, with a focus on the creative studio delivering all creative assets, the e-commerce team and the regional commercial team (including Trade Marketing).


Budget


  • Ensure budget control and priorities with an ‘act as if it was my own company’ attitude.



The ideal candidate:

  • Should demonstrate knowledge of/and have a keen interest in Ayurveda.
  • Understanding and appreciation of a founder-led start-up model.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 7-10 years' experience in the beauty industry.
  • Preferably with knowledge about the haircare category and excellent understanding of the US and global market.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to create amazing stories.
  • High taste for innovation and culture.
  • Strong leadership, influence, organisational and hands-on project management skills.
  • Excellent presentation as well as written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) is a must.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Financial fluency.
  • Disruptive mindset and innovative personality that is curious and always thinking outside the box.
