Position Overview:

The Chief of Staff will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to drive strategic initiatives, improve operational efficiency, and ensure that key business objectives are met. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, project management, and strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning & Execution:
  • Assist the CEO in developing and implementing the company’s strategic goals.
  • Track and monitor the progress of key initiatives and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional projects and ensure timely execution of deliverables.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making at the executive level.
  1. Operational Efficiency:
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks within the company’s operations.
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity across departments.
  • Work closely with department heads to ensure alignment and collaboration across the organization.
  1. Leadership & Team Management:
  • Serve as a key liaison between the CEO and the leadership team.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between departments.
  • Lead and manage special projects and initiatives as directed by the CEO.
  • Mentor and support the development of junior team members.
  1. Board & Stakeholder Management:
  • Prepare materials for board meetings, investor updates, and other key presentations.
  • Ensure that stakeholders are informed and engaged in company progress and decisions.
  • Manage relationships with key external partners, vendors, and stakeholders.
  1. Culture & Employee Engagement:
  • Promote a positive and inclusive company culture.
  • Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Act as a cultural ambassador and ensure that company values are upheld across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership or project management role, preferably in a SaaS or tech environment.
  • Proven track record of leading strategic initiatives and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working closely with C-level executives and managing high-level projects.
  • Skills:
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling.
