We are growing our team, and looking for a Refunds and Cash Reconciliation Assistant to join our rapidly expanding HQ. As a Refunds and Cash Reconciliation Assistant joining the team, you will play a key role in supporting the internal team in answering any receipts/refunds queries; ensuring that bank accounts are captured and reconciled in a timely manner.



The full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have.

Responsibilities:


  • of refunds to meet Service Level Agreements
  • resolve queries received from internal teams & external contacts in a professional manner
  • general administrative support to assist in resolving chargebacks
  • recommendations as required to develop refund processes
  • data from payment provider portals (sales, refunds and fees)
  • sales/refunds against cash received
  • journals to the accounting software
  • historic deferred income balances
  • Undertake any other admin tasks as reasonably required


Requirements:


  • to use MS Office (good knowledge of Excel)
  • attention to detail and ability to manage a demanding workload at pace whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • honest and adaptable to changing situations
  • communication skills both verbal and written
  • to effectively plan and organise own workload and work to deadlines
  • to learn and want to progress in a career in accounts
  • a team player and willing to contribute to the overall effectiveness of the finance team
  • Knowledge of NetSuite and Shopify is desirable
