**Cash and Reconciliations Adviser**

£23,400 plus excellent benefits (Work Level 6C)

We’re recruiting for a Cash and Reconciliations Adviser to join our Co-op Business Services team. We’ll look to you to take ownership of account reconciliations to make sure they’re accurate and up to date, keep on top of queries and build relationships with internal and external partners. It’s a great opportunity for you to develop your skills as part of a busy team.

**What you’ll do**
- Work within a wider team of around 10 advisers and seniors
- Be responsible for accurate data, loading and reconciling cash and general ledger accounts on a daily/weekly/period basis
- Complete the preparation of period end balance sheets to agreed timelines and quality measures
- Assist in the production and review of process documentation
- Demonstrate and contribute to a continuous improvement ethos and way of working
- Resolve and escalate issues arising on a day-to-day basis to your team manager

**This role would suit people who have**
- Experience working with reconciliations and balance sheet
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good IT skills with the ability to use programmes in the Microsoft Office Package (excel, Outlook, teams, SharePoint)
- Great problem-solving skills, and ability to see tasks through to completion
- A good team player and considers the impact they have on the wider business
