Job Summary:

The client are seeking a dynamic and creative Operations Coordinator specializing in Visual Merchandising and Store Design to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing visual merchandising strategies, designing store layouts, and ensuring the seamless execution of visual standards across all store locations. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for creating engaging and aesthetically pleasing retail environments.

Key Responsibilities

Visual Merchandising:

  • Develop and execute visual merchandising strategies to enhance product presentation and customer experience.
  • Design and implement window displays, in-store displays, and promotional setups in line with brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with teams to align merchandising efforts with promotional campaigns and seasonal trends.
  • Conduct regular store visits to ensure visual standards are maintained and provide feedback for improvement.

Store Design:

  • Create innovative and functional store layouts that maximize space utilization and enhance the shopping experience.
  • Coordinate with architects, designers, and contractors to manage store design projects from concept to completion.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and accessibility standards in all store designs.
  • Develop and maintain a library of design resources, including materials, fixtures, and furniture.

Project Management:

  • Plan and oversee visual merchandising and store design projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and IT, to ensure seamless project implementation.
  • Monitor project budgets and timelines, reporting on progress and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all projects, including design plans, budgets, and schedules.

Day rate: £250

IR35: Inside

Hybrid: 5 days a week - 3 in office, 2 at home

Location: Central London

Start: ASAP

Contract length: 6 months minimum
