**Job Description - Operations Coordinator**
**Reporting to: Operations Manager**
**Role Purpose:
**The Operations Coordinator is fully accountable for the efficient and consistent support of The Nunhead Gardener Stores and the smooth operation of the central headquarters. Working with the support of the directors, senior management, finance and warehouse teams you will support the Operations Manager in the daily operations and continued growth of The Nunhead Gardener. The Operations Coordinator role is based primarily in our Head Office however, will involve working in our other sites.**
The role is offered part-time with the opportunity to move to full-time in line with business needs.
**Responsibilities**:
Customer Support: Address queries and complaints, liaise with suppliers, and manage off-site work.
Systems: Assist in staff training, maintain system accuracy, and manage hardware.
Safety: Coordinate inspections, track health and safety training, and ensure compliance.
Retail Operations: Complete store shifts, ensure procedure adherence, and assist in stock management.
Store Sundries, Stock & Staff Uniform: Order and manage stock items, distribute uniforms, and maintain records.
Support: Assist senior team with scheduling, communication, and administrative tasks.
Projects: Undertake projects as required by management.
**Requirements**:
The Operations Coordinator is a Nunhead Gardener ambassador with excellent business administration and communication skills, displaying a relentless drive to complete projects and move the business forward.
The Operations Coordinator must be able to juggle multiple priorities.
Must have exceptional written and verbal English skills, they will be organised and highly proactive. They will also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to work under pressure. The Operations Coordinator must be comfortable dealing with stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
They should be highly computer literate. The coordinator must be process-oriented with a keen eye for detail.
A flexible attitude and time management skills are essential - there will be occasions when working out of office or store hours is required including weekends.
